These crocheted Swiffer pads from ForgetMeNotSoapShop are not only eco-friendly, they work a whole lot better than the disposable variety. They can take a lot more wear, so you won't tear holes in them while scrubbing at a tough spot on the floor, and they pick up a lot more dirt before being "full" and having to be changed.
And when one of them is dirty, you just put it in the washing machine!
They work for both the regular Swiffer and the Wet-Jet. But if you want a mop and don't have the Wet-Jet, you can always stop by the dollar store and pick up a refillable spray bottle. Just mix up floor cleaner and water in one of those, spray the floor and go over it with one of these pads on a Swiffer. If you do go that route, though, make sure to label the bottle clearly!

They look great! I need to try some. I have been using wash cloths on my swiffer. Lovely shop!
There's something I never thought of, Luv! I bet the crocheted pads work better than washcloths, but sometimes all mine are in the wash. I'll have to try that next time instead of pulling out the disposables.
Thank you Lauren for featuring my swiffer replacement pads.
I have found if I vacuum the floor one, it can be used for a long time between washes. I have a long hair kitty cat so it gets full pretty quick.
I was thinking of getting a swiffer, but the cost of replacements stoped me. This is a great idea! I may rethink getting one!
